It truly is an honour to be a wedding photographer. I find that the profession is often perceived as a stressful one, but I’ve found it to be the exact opposite - It’s a rewarding one. Real time feedback throughout the wedding day is one thing, but I also enjoy reading through reviews once photos have been delivered to my clients. ‘Mission accomplished!’ as George would say, but this time it’s for reals. Evan’s photography of our wedding day and engagement photos were both a perfect capsulation of the day and more amazing than we could have hoped for. Evan is as incredibly professional as he is friendly and down to Earth. My husband and I have never been photographed before and were unsure of what to do or how to stand, etc. but we quickly felt comfortable in front of the camera with Evan’s natural documentary style. On our wedding day, Evan was both everywhere, while seemingly nowhere as neither of us nor any of the family members noticed his presence and yet he managed to capture every moment. My wife I couldn’t have been more thrilled with Evan’s work on our wedding this past summer. The photos from our wedding day were absolutely perfect; Evan captured the special moments beautifully. Upon looking through our photos, we couldn’t believe what had been preserved! Evan blended in with the venues and guests, seeing picture-perfect moments from his unique vantage point. Evan was so great to work with, and we're so happy with our photos! Evan has an incredible eye for creating opportunities for some of the best photos I've ever seen (and definitely the best photos I've ever been in). Looking back through the photos gave me such joy and really felt like I was right back there reliving the day. In our opinion, Evan is a perfect wedding photographer. He has a fantastic eye for capturing intimate moments in a manner that is both natural and dramatic – we were astounded with the quality and variety of photos in our final wedding album. Additionally, he customizes his approach to the venue and environment (even using his drone for a few epic overhead shots), making for a unique finished product. While his stunning photography is reason enough to work with Evan, even more impressive is his amazing personality. From the first moments of our engagement shoot through to the end of our wedding reception, we found Evan to be incredibly pleasant, calming and reliable. Evan did our wedding this past September and the photos were amazing! The way he captured the wedding day from our tea ceremony to the western wedding was impeccable. He was able to be everywhere and I mean everywhere. When we were signing our wedding license, we thought it be good idea to capture this but notice Evan was already crouched down and gave a thumbs up. Evans easy going and laid back personality made everything go so much more fluid and my husband and my family absolutely loved him! Evan was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was so timely and responsive in his emails, and he also went above and beyond in helping me to get our wedding day timeline just right. Evan arrived a few minutes early to get set up, and his gentle spirit and calm demeanour put us all at ease. He gave some gentle guidance for posing, and was very efficient in getting our family photos done. We received our wedding photos in less then three weeks and are gushing over the absolutely gorgeous images. Evan is much more than a photographer, he is a storyteller. We look at our wedding photos and we see the love we share, and the joy and support from our family and friends. Evan is a talented story teller, as his beautiful photos capture the essence of the day. His kind and easy going approach to wedding photography allowed people to be themselves in front of the camera. We have so many beautiful photos of our family and friends! Evan captured theirs and our laughter, dance moves, and loving glances as he snapped the night away! He was fantastic at directing us in beautiful and naturally posed images. Evan was phenomenal to work with on our wedding day, and throughout the whole planning process. He was always just an email away if we needed advice, and was always willing to help. On our wedding day, he arrived calm and excited about the days events. He was subtle and in the background while we were getting ready, but was organized and efficient later in the day about getting group pictures done in a timely manner. He was flexible with changes of plans, and always had a smile on his face. We felt like he really cared about us as a couple, and was also excellent at working with our families and other guests.
